Q: What is Trevor Davis's background?

A: I'm Trevor Davis, a former NFL wide receiver and UC Berkeley graduate (Go Bears! - #1 public university in the world). At Cal, I played alongside quarterback Jared Goff, who's still playing in the NFL today, along with many other future NFL athletes. I was drafted in the 5th round by the Green Bay Packers where I spent 4 years catching touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers. I also played for the Raiders, Dolphins, and Washington Commanders, with time spent with the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons.

Q: What makes your training different from other programs?

A: Having played at both the collegiate and professional levels, I know exactly what it takes to succeed. What I've learned - and what most trainers haven't experienced - is that success is 90% mental and 10% physical. Most trainers focus only on developing skills, which is great, but I teach proper NFL/collegiate techniques that most trainers have only seen on film, coupled with mental training. I teach kids how to handle adversity, manage game anxiety, use self talk and motivation techniques, be great teammates, stay coachable with different coaching styles, and much more that never gets discussed in youth training.

Q: Why focus on the mental aspect?

A: As kids develop at different paces, over-developed kids struggle when real competition arrives and everyone else catches up, while under-developed kids develop doubts and anxiety about being good enough. The 90% mental component determines success in life, not just sports. Sports eventually end for everyone, but there's a reason 90% of women C-suite executives and 70% of men C-suite executives are former athletes. We're building human beings, not just athletes.

Q: Do you only train serious athletes?

A: Absolutely not! My training style is perfect for all skill levels. I can meet an athlete where they are and make them better regardless of their starting point - from complete beginners to all-state level athletes. We're developing the whole person.
